Alamar Cerda Remembered After Unexpected Passing on April 18, 2026, as Family Seeks Support for Funeral Costs and Four Young Children
A fundraiser created today by Dawn Prieto shares that Alamar Cerda unexpectedly passed away on April 18, 2026, at age 29.
Dawn, Alamar’s parent, wrote that an autopsy took place and the family awaits more information about whether an infection, inherited disease, or cancer played a role.
Alamar leaves behind four young children, ranging in age from newborn to 1, 6, and 8 years old.
The fundraiser has raised $1,610 of a $4,000 goal through 16 donations, with support intended for funeral needs and the children’s future.
Dawn remembered Alamar’s life through childhood, school, fishing, sports, gaming, and the early years of building a family.
The family expressed gratitude for the love, support, and prayers received during this difficult time.
